This evening of readings and literary insights is a
traditional highlight of Key West's annual Hemingway
Days celebration. This year's featured authors
include Ted Geltner, whose most recent book is the
critically acclaimed Blood, Bone & Marrow: A
Biography of Harry Crews; Mandy
Bolen Miles, renowned for her Tan Lines books and
columns; Terry Schmida, whose True Crime series
chronicles criminal deeds in the Florida Keys; and Selena Chambers, author Calls For Submission. Chuck Ball, who penned the engaging Hemingway’s Heist among others, was to participate but was unable to attend.
Presented by Literacy Volunteers of America-Monroe County, the event is held at the historic Key West Woman's Club and also includes a “meet the authors” reception.
